Overview

Space Shark tests whether an AI coding workflow can ship a production browser game, and whether player data can guide its design.

I directed an AI coding workflow and managed QA, analytics, SDK integration and deployment. I set up Supabase analytics and joined session and referrer data to audit platform play metrics.

What I did

  • Directed an AI coding workflow to ship a production HTML5 game to the web and CrazyGames

Key decisions

  • Set up Supabase analytics and joined session and referrer data to audit platform play metrics
  • Designed a tutorial in response to onboarding friction seen in player behaviour data

The game reached ~300 active players. The audit found a 3x undercount in platform play metrics, traced it to a missing SDK integration and shipped the fix; player behaviour data also showed onboarding friction, which led to a new tutorial.

Results

  • Reached ~300 active players
  • Identified a 3x undercount in platform play metrics, traced it to a missing SDK integration and shipped the fix
